Mad DASH: Sunday, September 18, 2011
We are pleased to announce that the Mad DASH 2011 is scheduled for September 18th this year! The Mad DASH is a classic Vermont foot race—a 10K/5K run or walk, and a Kid’s Fun Run. It is part of a community fitness event held to benefit the Mad River Path Association. The race is located in the nationally recognized Mad River Valley Rural Historic District. The course runs on farm lanes, country roads and the Mad River Greenway, a natural cross country course with scenic views of the Valley and Vermont's Green Mountains. Participants of all ages are welcome.
Approximately 500 people attend the Mad DASH and mark their calendars in anticipation yearly. Our event brings together members of the community, visitors and businesses in support of the Mad River Path, which is an important asset for the Mad River Valley. Register online at www.active.com. You can also find a registration table at the Waitsfield Farmer’s Market every Saturday until race day during the months of August and September.
